zooplus is Europe’s leading online retailer for pet supplies with a successful, highly professional IT sector. Every single one of our eCommerce business processes is supported by our IT and 1 in 4 of all zooplus employees work within the IT department. There are around 30 system and support engineers, 8 BI specialists and 10 DevOps engineers, as well as some 65 software developers based in Munich, Krakow and Madrid. The zooplus IT department is made up of 29 different nationalities and they all form part of the team responsible for developing state of the art applications for our business domains Online Shop, Finance, Logistics and Customer Services. Scrum was introduced in 2009 and followed by DevOps last year. We now work in a modified agile environment with most artefacts. The organisation of our development teams is product-centric, which allows for more flexibility and responsibility. zooplus has a double digit growth rate with a revenue of more than 900 million EUR in 2016.
